Overview So what was this Campsite like? Well we thought it was pretty amazing and we have given this site a 5 star rating (something we never do!, however just to put this rating into some kind of perspective here are just some of the amenities and features of the site.... EHU available, lakeside pitches are available on a first come basis and the views are spectacular! (lakeside pitches are not EHU), very clean and modern showers, well stocked camp shop, free freezer use, Gas bottle exchange, campfires allowed but must be off the ground and logs are available from the camp shop, children’s play area, camp kitchen cafe, rowing boat and kayak hire, strictly enforced noise curfew, extremely helpful staff (who even charged one of our Leisure batteries), Tipi hire, Lakeside Pods, Volley Ball and Table Tennis, picnic benches throughout the site. This is one beautiful and well-maintained place in amazing surroundings! Things to do on site?

There’s nothing that quite compares to a campfire by the lakeside, you are welcome to have a campfire but this must be elevated off the ground, we enjoyed a fire most nights during the July summer heat.
The cost Pitches are £24 in high season (non EHU), add £5 for EHU, and to be honest for how good this site is coupled with the spectacular views we felt this was well worth it.
